Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American musician, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle who has the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album of his studio. The hit song, "Antidote", was featured on it. The second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was able to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three songs at the top spot in less than an entire year, in the year 2020.
